Earlier this year, Leo Sean Penn triumphed in the Best Actor Oscar race for a lead role in Milk. He was coincidentally (?) directed to his win by a Leo auteur, Gus Van Sant. This season’s two hot early favorites may need the same type of good zodiac karma. Virgo Colin Firth (born September, 10 1960) looks like he can take the golden man for his touching performance in A Single Man. And it was a Virgo mastermind/ legendary designer Tom Ford (born August 27, 1961) who got that performance out of him. His main rival is looking to be Gemini Morgan Freeman (born June 1, 1937) who’s is rumored to be triumphant as Nelson Mandela in Invictus. Fellow Gemini Clint Eastwood (born May 31, 1930) directed him in this film and his only previous Oscar glory, Million Dollar Baby.
