Marilyn Monroe (born June 1, 1926) would have turned 83 today if she were still alive, but her legacy is so lasting and influential that her birthday is still acknowledged by hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world. The Gemini superstar suffered a very controversial death in 1962 but her body of work and a memorable photo bank are extremely enduring. The actress had a striking Aquarius Moon that flirtatiously served her well in films like How to Marry a Millionaire, Bus Stop, and Some Like It Hot. And with her Gemini Mercury she was very intelligent and surprisingly quick-witted that was a sure contrast to her dumb blonde bunny image. Her passionate Aries Venus was no doubt behind her constant need and desire for strong men like Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller as well as endless sting of other affairs. But with her Pisces Mars and Aquarius Jupiter, the legend was ultimately very vulnerable and particularly private. She had a constant mental list of insecurities and was rather sensitive when rejected or neglected. Monroe loved the attention, the cameras, and understood her celebrity powers, though dealing with all those fame vitamins proved to be impossible for the star.
