March Aries Diva Parade!

Let’s put it this way: if you’re not a March born Aries woman your chances of becoming a legendary singing diva instantly go down by about 90%. Sure, there are very rare exceptions like a Leo Whitney Houston, Virgo Beyonce, and Sag duo of Tina Turner and Bette Midler. But the Ram track record over the last fifty years has been nothing short of remarkable, producing a best-selling artist in nearly every decade and inspiring generations of fans and drag queens. Below, are our picks for top 5 March Aries divas of all time (we had to put Fergie, Norah Jones, and Reba McEntire on reserve for this one).
Aretha Franklin (born on March 25, 1942) Unarguably, this diva is the most influential female artist of all time. She sings louder than all others and isn’t afraid to indulge herself in just about anything. And remember that little headpiece Franklin wore during the Obama’s inauguration? Well, any true Aries diva will know how to steal spotlight from just about anyone and that includes Mr. Barack.
Diana Ross (born on March 26, 1944). Her first name should have been Diva, not Diana. After decades of exuberant costumes, eyelashes, tall shoes, and gigantic hair, Ross is a true icon. She’s a legendary shopper, hopeless romantic, and a fairy-tale like mother. But don’t you dare call her anything but Miss Ross.
Chaka Khan (born on March 23, 1953) The funk queen is a consummate performer with her fearless outfits and eye-popping hair. She’s a kind of diva that lasted generations because she could show up in a middle of the cemetery, grab a microphone and awake the dead.
Celine Dion (born on March 30, 1968) Remember that over-the-top second wedding to the same man staged by Celine Dion? Las Vegas, gold, Arabic Nights, diamonds floating everywhere. Well, that’s kind of what Dion is at heart. This Aries woman loves the grandest of stages, posh couture (Sag John Galliano is a friend), and certainly has the monumental voice to back it all up!
Mariah Carey (born on March 27, 1970) Hmm…where to begin? Is it Carey’s obsession with butterflies or Hello Kitty? What about her shoe closet and that gold plated bathtub? Or maybe that she sleeps during the day or works only at night? Or that she’s planning to buy the biggest property in California? Or that she’s rarely seen without the skyscraper heels? Or that she broke note records with her voice? Yes, Carey is a diva in every sense of a word.
