We have to say, some month inspired baby names are just plain dubious. Most Aprils we know are born in either September or February. Some Mays are born in December and more than few Junes celebrate their big day sometime in March. These families either own a whole bunch of expired calendars or just hopeful for something that isn’t meant to be. Even more drastic is the case of Capricorn Clark, a Sean Combs confidante and executive who’s actually a Virgo. “Everyone gets my sign confused” she once told us. “My parents were San Francisco hippies who welcomed me to the world during the height of all the craziness.”
So it’s refreshing that there’s finally a celebrity that was born in the month coinciding with her cake day. We’re talking of course about the Sunday’s Golden Globe favorite, January Jones. The Mad Men star (born on January 5, 1978) grew up somewhere in the middle of South Dakota, worked as Abercrombie & Fitch model and Dairy Queen scoop girl before making it big and even dated Aquarius Ashton Kutcher for years until Scorpio Demi Moore locked him up in her castle. But during the past year Jones finally achieved acclaim as Betty Draper, a very pretty and very abandoned wife of her philandering advertising executive husband. The Capricorn actress gets to wear pretty outfits and perfect make-up and makes us all root for her during her character’s perfectly pitched rebellions. Ironically though, Jones’ name was not only inspired by her birthday, but also a character in Jacqueline Susann’s novel, January Wayne.
