Every actor owes a debt to someone. It can be a dedicated agent, an inspiring acting coach, a faithful director, or a wicked publicist. In Aries Kate Hudson’s case (born on April 19, 1979) the source of all of her success can be traced to Scorpios. The actress’ mother Goldie Hawn is a Scorpio and so are virtually all of her most memorable co-stars. The evidence is quite convincing.
- Patrick Fugit (October 27, 1982) in Almost Famous. Hudson basically entered the big leagues and earned her only Oscar nomination as Penny Lane. She was Fugit’s uncompromising crush and best friend in the film. Virtually all their scenes together were the actresses’ all-time acting highlights.
- Matthew McConaughey (November 4, 1969) in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Fool’s Gold. The former film was the biggest hit of Hudson’s career that came as a result of irresistible bickering and sparks between the actress and her co-star. “It’s magic,” Hudson told us last year. “We’ve learned how to love, fight, and make-up all on perfect cue.”
- Owen Wilson (November 18, 1968) in You, Me, and Dupree. Another Scorpio, another hit. This was the second largest box office draw of Hudson’s career in which she had to pretend to detest a Scorpio for most of the film.
- Anne Hathaway (November 12, 1982) in upcoming Bride Wars. Same formula, different sex. Have a rivalry with a Scorpio in front of cameras and attract lots of popcorn eating fans.
